The cast from the plastic mold came out reasonably well- I guess this proves money does buy convenience. Some particulars:
forgot to use the vegetable oil spray I intended to
left it at room temperature for 8h
mold pieces took a bit of jiggling to remove
some undercuts stayed stuck in the mold
the oculus spire broke off again
The wax surface took on the striated texture of the plastic and is a bit streaky and crumbly. Also, I didn't scent this one.
